Big loss today. Gidget - no, not the surfing one - the lovable Spanish-speaking, taco-crunching chihuahua made famous in Taco Bell spots has ... one moment ... passed. Second perhaps only to Spuds McKinsey in terms of tv spokesdog pitchmen/women (?), he had everyone saying "Yo Quiero" something and thinking it was funny for a while.

Gidget, RIP good friend. You made a nation believe they actually knew Spanish, if only for a moment.
