Outbreaks of whateveryacanname scare a lot of people, no matter where they are in the world.
Also scary? The mind-warping power of viral marketing. This from Wired magazine's Geekipedia:
Definition of Viral:
What hath forwarding wrought? The first viral phenomena were authentic expressions of Net culture: an exuberant Turk "invitating" women to visit his home country, an awkward teenager showing off his lightsaber skills. Now corporations are producing their own quirky content hoping to snare viewers. And it's working: A vérité video of Brazilian soccer star Ronaldhino, subtly sponsored by Nike, has been viewed more than 15 million times. Now, it's impossible to know whether that YouTube clip is the product of a fevered amateur or a marketing maven. Who invitated these guys anyway?

We're big Ronaldinho fans, so we account for several of the 15 million views, but if you want to see what all the fuss is about, watch the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNwLn85I75Y
The crossbar thing is cool, but how about the backfoot juggling action toward the end? Crazy good.
